The beach next to Hotel H10 Playa Esmeralda is one of my favourite beaches, both water quality and because not many people, besides having some protection from a cliff, and be a good place to walk, if there is low tide .
Is parked on the beach, less than 20 meters from the sand, and a small building with changing rooms and showers.
The fastest way to get there is taking a dirt road in very good condition from the H10Playa Esmeralda and heads to sea (a few years ago, this road was very bad and the car was, but they have fixed and no problem).
From this beach you can go south and to appear at Playa Esmeralda, a small wild beach, where just the beaches of Costa Calma and begins the amazing Playa de Sotavento.
At the end of this beach we found a beach bar, perfectly situated, which for me is one of the best of the island, price, quality and its privileged position

My Opinion: Beach with a perfect size, where not too crowded, and is perfect for a day, then eat at the snack bar. Do not forget to bring nuts to give to the squirrels that live in the cliffs.
